This is an idea for a 14.5″ bush machete I have been working on. The comment area will be open so please share your thoughts on the design. You can also press any of the “contact us” buttons around the website to drop us a message. Before you ask, yes I would plan on making it “tough as nails” in CPM 3V. The thickness would be 5/32″, with a convexed edge. I designed it to be very functional and able to fill multiple roles. It would feature intricate 3D contoured handles, similar to the GSO-10.

In a few weeks we’ll be unveiling a few preproduction samples of the GSO-10. These will feature a full height convex grind and be made from CPM-3V, with an aim hardness of 59-60Rc. All heat treat of SURVIVE! knives is done by Peters Heat Treat.

Here is a small update on the progress of the first GSO knives. As you can see from these samples, the blade blanks for the first three styles are cut. Things are moving right along. Check back often for more updates.
